Mario-Steven Estrada was born in San Diego, California. He is an undergraduate student at UCLA, majoring in Chemistry. He has a strong interest in organic chemistry and medicine. He joined Osvaldo’s laboratory to deepen his understanding of organic chemistry and to gain insight into the development of more sustainable chemical products. He plans to apply his background and research training in chemistry to contribute to the field of medicinal chemistry as a physician. Other interests include tennis and exercise.
