Yuritza Vielma-Gonzalez

Born and raised in California, Yuritza is an undergraduate student at UCLA majoring in Chemistry. She joined the group of Prof. Osvaldo Gutierrez to apply her analytical skills and strong foundation in organic chemistry to the study of iron-catalyzed multicomponent reactions. Outside of the lab, Yuritza loves to go to the gym and enjoys running. She is an avid fan of video games, exploring local cafés for the perfect iced matcha latte (or an iced Americano when the research gears need to start turning), and spending time with friends.
