Deborshee Das (G3)

Deborshee is from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at Ramakrishna mission Vivekananda Centenary College, where his passion for Organic chemistry flourished. Building on this foundation, Deborshee pursued his Master's degree in Synthetic organic chemistry at IIT Kanpur, under Prof. D.H.Dethe where he worked on total synthesis. After his masters in 2022 he continued working in his previous lab on Total synthesis of Azadiradione.
With a deep enthusiasm in fall 2023, he joined Dr. Gutierrez's group where he is working on synthesis of multicomponent iron-catalysed cross coupling reaction and further explore his interest in synthetic organic chemistry.
In his spare time, he enjoys chess and cricket, as well as photography.
