Emil Rusu

Emil Rusu is an undergraduate research assistant from Sacramento, California. Born in Moldova, he moved to the U.S. in 2009 with his family. He currently attends UCLA as a chemistry major. Due to an interest in organic and computational chemistry, Emil joined Dr. Gutierrez’s group in Spring 2025. Outside of the lab, Emil enjoys cooking, painting, and reading.
